Are you going through a tough time? Do you often feel weighed down by feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger, or loneliness? Are you struggling with difficult relationships, life changes, or self identities? Do you want to have a change but do not know where to start? If you find it difficult to talk to your friends or family, you may come talk to our therapist, Sandra. She will work with you on strategies that allow you to address your difficulties.
Since she was little, Sandra wanted to work with people. She feels pain for people’s sufferings; and she is amazed by people’s resilience and strengths. She is committed to understanding her clients’ lived experiences. She empowers her clients in making sense of their experiences, exploring their life values, finding their solutions, building healthy relationships, and making peace with themselves.

In her over twenty years of clinical practice, Sandra worked with children, youths, adults, and elderly. She provided psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families at counselling centers, mental health units at a teaching hospital, school setting, and private practice. Sandra practices with strength-based and anti-oppression frameworks. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Counselling, and Systemic Family Therapy.

Sandra’s education background includes Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, and Bachelor of Social Work from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. And she obtained the Certificate in Solution Focused Counselling from the University of Toronto.

If you feel stuck, you are not alone. Let’s work together to find healing and change.
