Joyce has had extensive experience supporting children and families as both a psychotherapist and a former early years assistant teacher. As a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Registered Counselling Psychologist in Hong Kong, she brings a culturally sensitive perspective to her work, recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the families. She has supported children in navigating their emotional, relational, and developmental transitions, creating a safe and nurturing space for them to thrive. She is also deeply passionate about creative learning and has had the joy of facilitating LEGO® learning-through-play programs for children, parents, and educators, helping children with special needs engage in meaningful and enriching ways.

Joyce has had the privilege of supporting families during the early, formative years of their child’s life. She understands the challenges parents and caregivers face, whether it’s managing emotional regulation, addressing behavioural concerns, navigating developmental milestones, or strengthening parent-child relationships. Let’s create a nurturing environment that fosters your child’s emotional and social growth, laying the foundation for their well-being.

As a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Registered Counselling Psychologist in Hong Kong, Joyce brings a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach to therapy. Drawing from her experience as a psychotherapist and former early years assistant teacher, she specializes in creating safe, supportive spaces for children and families through individual and group therapy, as well as parent consultations. Using play therapy, psychodynamic approaches, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and creative programs like LEGO® learning-through-play, she helps families and children, including those with special needs, thrive emotionally and relationally in meaningful and positive ways.

Parenting young children is a journey filled with joys and challenges, and it’s normal to feel uncertain at times. Joyce is here to support you with empathy and compassionate, non-judgmental care as you navigate these moments. Let’s collaborate to help your child thrive and strengthen the bonds that create a fulfilling family life.
