Kandy has extensive experience supporting children with neurodiverse needs, as well as emotional and behavioural challenges. Following comprehensive psychosocial assessments, Kandy develops and implements individualised treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs. Through evidence-based techniques, such as play therapy and engaging activities, Kandy fosters a safe and supportive space for emotional expression and healing.

Kandy offers support to children, preteen, and adults dealing with a range of personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the development of emotion management techniques. She is especially passionate to assisting children and preteens who experience anxiety, ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, family transitions, low self-esteem, parenting challenges, peer interaction difficulties, and school adjustments.

Kandy is dedicated to establishing a supportive, non-judgmental environment that prioritizes client safety and confidentiality. Using a person-centered and strengths-focused therapeutic approach, along with utilising play therapy and art-based interventions, Kandy strives to nurture self-awareness and facilitate personal growth. Additionally, Kandy incorporates innovative tools such as 6 Bricks and Playbox to enhance children’s executive functioning, social and emotional regulation skills.

Her goal is to cultivate empathy and understanding, acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual’s needs, strengths, and perspectives.
