Joy was a teacher who taught pre-school and elementary school-aged children in China. She worked and is currently working with both elementary and high school students and their families who are new to Canada and with all kinds of needs, including special education needs.

Joy has worked in the educational system in both Canada and China for the last 10 years. And now to be more specific, she works with the newcomer families who are new to Canada, facing the transitions in life in different levels to help them to settle down and settle well. She will use her work experience and people-centred practice to better support you.
