Yvonne Ma is a Registered Psychotherapist in the Province of Ontario (CRPO). She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto at Scarborough and a Master of Arts in Social Work at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She specializes in family-centered practice and family therapy.

Yvonne has been working in the community setting for over 10 years, focusing on serving newcomers and the vulnerable population in a linguistic and culturally sensitive manner. Yvonne believes life is full of highs and lows; she appreciates individuals and families who take the courageous step to come forward and allow her to be part of their life journeys.

Through collaboration between therapist and client, Yvonne’s goals of the therapy are to provide clients with a safe space where they can expand self-awareness and explore and process their thoughts and emotions to work through challenging issues in a confidential and non-judgmental environment, in order to uncover inner strength and empower positive change.
